Mila Claire Fisher
At the time of Tamra's I still lived in Langley & she was living in West Kelowna. She notified me that labour was possibly starting around 9:30 at night but she wasn't entirely sure so told me not to leave quite yet - by 10pm her possible braxton hicks were now 100% contractions and I was on the road to Kelowna by 10:22 - my GPS estimated that I would arrive by 1:37 am. Thankfully I got there sooner then that as little Mila was born at 1:37am! PHEW! Tamra is one of the most gracious people I know, and the doesn't change while shes in labour. She had a midwife for this birth.. But the midwife was occupied with another birth while Tamra was in labour, so Tamra & Cody birthed their little girl completely on their own, with the support of Tamra's mother there as well. The midwife came into the room just as the baby entered the world. I will add that their other 2 little girls were sound asleep in the next bedroom the entire time and woke up in the morning to a new baby sister. Tamra had a red light in the bathroom during her labour, which you notice a red hue in quite a few photos that I shared below.
